Merchandising

Among our most important team members are DPI’s Merchandising staff. They are responsible for working our products to the store shelves, ensuring that appropriate stock is in place and that each item is properly displayed, rotated and removed when out of code or non-sellable, based on our standards and the retailer’s criteria. For many of our Sales Representatives and other staff, Merchandiser is the starting point, where they gain the knowledge and experience necessary to deliver the quality of service DPI requires. Our Merchandising Specialists fill another key role, working on store set crews, which assist retailers with re-sets and refreshes when needed in new, remodeled and existing locations. Specialists throughout DPI are assigned to a variety of crews focusing on product lines ranging from perishable, specialty grocery and frozen foods to service deli, dairy deli, specialty candy, bakery and more. We are well-prepared to meet the needs of any retailer to optimize our product presentation, merchandising and sales.
